Funeral/Memorial

I never anticipated that officiating funerals would become part of my journey, yet here I find myself. Although I've conducted just one, it truly felt like a celebration of life. The service I officiated was for the husband of the very first wedding I led back in 2013. His wife reached out to me, and I felt deeply honored to be asked. He passed away in 2021, and throughout the years, we'd forged a friendship; he was also a fellow veteran. Thus, I have decided to expand my offerings to include this important service.

My services will be non-denominational, respecting the diverse beliefs of those I serve. We will begin with at least one phone conversation to arrange a face-to-face meeting. During this meeting, we will discuss the elements you'd like to incorporate into the service. We can even arrange to meet while the individual is still living, allowing them to express their wishes for their farewell.

PRICING

• For Montgomery, Waller, Grimes, and NW Harris Counties, the fee is set at $275. For all other locations, a travel fee will apply.

• If you would like service at the graveside as well, an additional fee of $150 will be incurred (note that travel fees may be added if the cemetery is located elsewhere from the service).
